10th Annual Cookout For The Homeless
Approaching on Saturday, May 24th, We Rise Above The Streets Recovery Outreach Inc. is hosting our 10th annual cookout event for the homeless, which has been a significant initiative for the past few years. It has assisted numerous families, children, and individuals without homes and food insecure families households. Our aim is to continue supporting more individuals in our community and uniting volunteers to spread kindness and compassion. The event will include various services such as foot washing, distributing new shoes and socks, providing haircuts, children’s toys, men women and children clothes, DJ, ice cream truck, several bouncy house and offering a comfortable dining experience similar to that of a high-end restaurant for our guests and much, much more entertainment.
However, to bring this vision to life, we require your assistance. Donations of hamburgers, chicken, steak, hotdogs(chicken, beef, turkey) buns, chips, as well as homemade side dishes, baked desserts for the homeless are greatly appreciated. Volunteers are needed for packaging hygiene products and fundraising to ensure the success of this event. If you are interested in volunteering or donating, please contact us directly. My Purpose of Life

Everything I’ve been through, it was preparing me for right now. Someone was looking over me. I see the whole picture because everything makes sense now. Going through the journey was confusing, because I tried to figure out where it was going. Now, I realize I would not have achieved what I have, done what I have, been successful like I have, if not for everything I went through.
